The Flea is a melding of two Spanish-American folktales, one about a race between a donkey and a family of frogs and one about a goat herder named Pedro who enlists the help of an ant, a cockroach and a mouse to win a contest and achieve his dream of joining a band.

Eulenspiegel puppeteers will train your students or community members to manipulate the delightful rod puppets used in this production.  The show can be performed in English or, if the sponsor provides a Spanish speaker, in English and Spanish. It is enhanced with live music by Ron Hillis.
